Instructions on Returning Goods

Right of return
1. If the Customer is a Consumer, he may revoke his declaration to conclude a sales contract within a period of 14 days in text form (e.g. by letter, fax, e-mail) without stating a reason, or by returning the goods.
2. The period commences on the date after the goods were received by the Customer, and the Customer has received instructions on returning goods separately in text form (e.g. by letter, fax, e-mail).
3. Timely dispatch of the cancellation or the goods shall be deemed sufficient for compliance with the cancellation period.
4. The cancellation or goods shall be addressed to:

  The right of return does not apply, however, in the exceptional cases provided for by law, in particular
 
  • in the case of contracts for the supply of goods which were made to customer specification, or
  • in the case of goods that are clearly tailored to the personal requirements of the customer, or
  • in the case of goods which, due to their nature, are not suitable for return.

Consequences of cancellation
1. In the event that cancellation takes effect, the goods already received shall be returned and any use obtained (e.g. interest) shall be surrendered. If the Customer is unable to return the goods received, in whole or in part, or only in a deteriorated condition, he must pay compensation for the loss in value thereof, if applicable. When surrendering goods this does not apply if the deterioration (or loss) of the goods is due exclusively to them being inspected, as might occur on shop premises for example, or the deterioration of the goods arose through being put into use as intended.
2. Goods that can be sent by parcel post shall be returned, in which case the Vendor bears the shipping risk. The Customer shall bear the cost of the return shipment if the goods delivered are as ordered and if the price of the returned goods does not exceed € 40, or if the Customer has not yet paid the consideration or a part-payment agreed by contract if the goods are at a higher price at the time of cancellation. In all other case the Customer is not charged for the return shipping. Any goods that cannot be sent by parcel post shall be collected from the Customer.
